We make SCAP known to the world
Schools Climate Action Projects (SCAP) is a school-centered climate action organization that empowers students, educators, researchers, and school communities to move beyond awareness and into feasible, evidence-informed, and locally responsive climate action. SCAP envisions schools as living laboratories of climate solutions, where students are guided to investigate real climate challenges, critique existing systems, design and implement practical projects, and communicate their work to wider communities.
Building on the momentum of the Schools Climate Action Project Regional Dialogue, where students and schools from different regions presented unique climate initiatives, SCAP is now moving toward formalizing its regional chapters, elected officers, structured communications, SCAP Press, newsletters, partnerships, and a strategic curriculum that prepares students to develop meaningful capstone climate action projects for their schools, communities, and the world.
